Motivating People From Where They Are – FPUK.co – Andrew Chenery

depressed pic

Hi Friend,  How is your new week shaping up? I am so proud of you for being a person who wants more out of their life and is working to achieve your goals and better yourself.

You might be doing great but when you look around, are you starting to see others give up? They set this goal and now they’re already going back to old habits?

Clients have asked me before, “Andrew how do I motivate others to succeed, as well?” It can be frustrating to see those you are close to start things and then give up! I’ve run into this with my kids a lot, my wife and even in myself.

To answer your question, let me share a story. You may or may not know this, but I went through a bad period of being stressed, depressed and entertaining dark thoughts. It lasted for 9 solid months before finally getting so sick and tired of being sick and tired, I decided to do something about it.

If you had tried to motivate me anytime during those months, I wouldn’t have listened. Mainly because I was busy having a pity party and enjoyed blaming everyone else. I just wasn’t ready.

A lot of people say they want success, say they want to lose weight, make more money, get a better job. But they really don’t! And that is okay. We are all at different points in our journey.

You can try to push people out of their ruts, but they might be having fun in there. I wasn’t ready to listen until month 10 of being in that place. Who knows how long it will take others to be ready to listen or actually pull themselves out of the hole!

So what are you supposed to do in this situation?

The only thing you can do… love people where they happen to be in their life. Support them right where they are, realizing they might be at a different place than you in their life journey. When you are there for them, you will learn what motivates them and can just encourage that particular hot-button area!

It puts stress on your relationships when you to try to force others to succeed. And if you push, you will push them away. It shows you don’t support them in their struggles. It shows them your agenda is more important than theirs.

Are you ready to encourage and love others where they are right now?  Leave me your comments and don’t forget to Like and Share this message. If you’re looking for more tips to decrease stress, better your relationships and uncover new strategies for success, join us by subscribing to this blog.

Thats it for today – I hope you have an amazing day

Residual Income = Time Freedom – FPUK.co

time freedom3

Hi Friends,

I’m getting a little bit excited now, as many of you know I’m getting married this Saturday and my Event Planner iPhone app is telling me its only 2 days 6 hours and 2 minutes away – Wow !!

I’m off very soon to go and collect some very good friends from the airport that are coming to stay and attend our wedding, and thats really part of what I want to talk to you all today about.

Taking Time Off, when I need is one of the many benefits of working for my self, and I’ve done this for 9 years now. Every time one of my children has had a school assembly or a school lunch for fathers I’ve been able to attend, I’ve been able to take my children to school and pick them up if I’ve wanted and been their for the important events. I haven’t had to ask the boss for time off, ok all I’ve had to do is rearrange my diary with my clients but as long as my appointments have been met thats been ok, but thats the thing in my diary my children’s events are listed in my list of appointments as important as a business client. This is where getting your life plan balance correct and I’ve talked about that in other posts.

But now, taking time off when i wanted just meant taking time off, I’m the boss right so i can say i’m going to the airport this morning and no-one can complain or get jealous for me being missing again. But in the past, if I took too much time off my income dipped a little, but time and money are the 2 things we always need more of and always run out very quickly. But now since adding an extra income stream, I have money coming in whether I work or take time off.

Residual Income is a term very misunderstood, but its a term that is becoming more popular as we understand and compare earning types. Many people get paid linear income, they get paid the same each week or month for the work they have done, whether they have worked extra hard or just done their job, they get paid the same. They have been paid for the number of hours they’ve done i.e a 40 hour week with half hour for lunch resulting in a 37.5 hour week. Others get paid for productivity, producing items for sale and often the hours put in doesn’t justify the retail price of the product covering the time spent, as in artists and crafts people. In both these examples as soon as they stop working and don’t do anything their income stops. With residual income, work is done for very little effort which then earns income continuously without any manual input to keep it coming in, and this is what my newest income steam is – Residual Income. Now this truly allows me to take time off as and when I want without having to book my holidays with the boss and getting it on the calendar early so as not to miss out.

Are these important to you:

  • Time Freedom
  • Residual Income
  • Top up your pension
  • Financial Peace
  • Working where and when you want
  • Spending time with family or children

If the answer to any of these is Yes then take a look at earning Residual Income, which can be ran alongside your part/full time job or self employed role until the level is correct for you and then you can Jump Ship to your new lifestyle. I know i’d rather work hard for the next 5 years to then receive my current yearly salary paid to me each month without much input, and I’ve got many friends doing just that for just a few hours a week.

I encourage you today to get these principles working in your favour. Don’t leave your success to chance — follow the laws and create your dream life!

Have Money Work Harder Than You – FPUK.co

sales

Hi Friends,

I was talking to a new friend yesterday who is struggling to make ends meet but wants and needs to make a difference to their lives, and she truly believed that by having more jobs and working all the hours that come it would make a difference. But their health was deteriorating to a point that they had to take sick days from each of the jobs on a regular basis, I explained that working smarter rather than harder was the real answer, having money work for her rather than working harder for money.

I’m about to share a huge secret with you today. Did you realise most people honestly believe that the means to real financial independence is through a higher salary or working every hour that comes? How about you?

Are you working for someone else in a 9 to 5 Rat-Race, just trying to continue up the corporate ladder to a point where you can finally “get ahead” financially? Or, are you chasing the great “Dream” of starting your own business on the side maybe to follow your passion, or as a way to generate extra income or just to be able to jump off that 9 to 5 Rat-Race?

Trust me, working full-time and starting your own business is a recipe for disaster as you work ’round the clock and only see slow, tiny steps forward on the path to increase your wealth!

Well, here’s the secret… very few millionaires make their money from a salary! And you can bet those CEOs at the top of the corporate food chain make tremendous sacrifices of their time and in their relationships to earn that 7-figure salary.

So, you’ve got to be asking yourself, “Where are all these millionaires getting this money if not from big-name jobs and salaries?” This is about so much more than making money, this is about creating genuine wealth. If we both stopped working today, we would still have a steady money flow for years to come. Why? Because we have multiple streams of residual income!

Now, you might think that investing is too risky. And it’s never too soon or too late to start.

In our house, we aren’t in the business of giving our children a free ride or life handed to them on a silver platter. They have to know the power of earning their own money and what it can do for them.

So, Friends you’ve got to ask yourself, “If a 11-17 year-olds can find the means to start investing, then what’s holding me back?” Or you could say, “Hey, I wonder how they do that?” If they could do it, then you most certainly can! Look into it yourself! You might learn a few things — starting right here:

Ask yourself why you want to start a business.

Is it to be your own boss?

Create a legacy for your children?

Attain financial independence?

Creating time freedom?

Maybe it’s all of the above. But identifying your specific motives helps to establish a true vision for your goal. And there is no right or wrong answer! It really is okay to just be in it for the money!
Start investing NOW. If you ever want your bottom line to increase, you’ve got to start investing now. And I do mean NOW — you can’t wait for that “when you have the money” or “when the economy gets better” excuses! Set aside money each payday, whether it is £5, £50, £500 or more… just do it and earmark it strictly for investments. It will make the “big risk” seem a lot less scary. Initially build yourself your emergency fund that isn’t touched unless it for an emergency and I mean emergency, and if you need to dip into for the emergency then replace that money as soon as is possible then continue putting money into savings again not tone touched. Then when you make money from those initial small investments, turn that money around for more and new investments.
Continue to put money in savings. Remember wealth isn’t just about how much you earn, it is often about how much you KEEP. Realize that most savings accounts are just money saved to use later.
Increasing your bottom line is simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It requires an investment from you! That investment could be your time, your training or your skill sets.

I encourage you today to get these principles working in your favour. Don’t leave your success to chance — follow the laws and create your dream life!

Please take a minute to pass this message along to your friends, family and colleagues today. How To Prosper – FPUK.co

prosper
Hi Friends,

Today I want to visit with you about seasons of famine and seasons of plenty. You see, in life… things happen. And occasionally they spin totally out of your control. You never know when you’ll have an emergency, a sudden left turn or get stuck without a job.

Sometimes you plant the right seeds, you till, you slave and you nourish those seeds. But if you plant during a season of drought you might not be seeing the crop you worked so hard for.

The only way to see yourself through these times, is to prepare for the season of famine. If you are gluttonous or a spoiled brat addicted to pleasures, you will not survive the famine! He who tills his land will have plenty of food, But he who follows empty pursuits will have poverty in plenty. (Proverbs 28:19)

Learn to get your body off the drugs of spending on pleasures and luxuries. You need to condition yourself to live a simple a life so you can accumulate wealth while others are going broke. This will also provide you with a reserve during the seasons of famine.

What season are you currently in? If you are in seasons of plenty:

  1. Work on paying off your debt NOW, while you can.
  2. Simplify your lifestyle, sell stuff you don’t need and live on less.
  3. Don’t spend every dime you make! If you spend every dollar you make, you are not being a good steward of your seeds. But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.(Deuteronomy 8:18)

If you are in a season of famine:

  1. Don’t use credit cards to keep up a facade of financial stability. SIMPLIFY
  2. If you don’t have an income, get one now. Whiners will starve, do-ers will win (and eat).
  3. Take responsibility and make the needed changes. Stop blaming the economy, the job market, your parents or whatever!
  4. Grow your skills. Especially with people. Remember, opportunity comes from people and so does money.
  5. Stop looking for the easy way to succeed. It will lead you to a dead end!
  6. As soon as you start making money, don’t spend it! Refer to back to the tips for seasons of plenty.

Our first 10 years in business we made money and repeatedly lost it! After that we finally got smart and figured out how to make, keep and grow it.

It starts with killing your greed and gluttony. Great wealth is in the house of the righteous, But trouble is in the income of the wicked.(Proverbs 15:6) I’m not saying you can’t have fun or pleasures. I’m saying get off the drug of excess. You will massively decrease your stress once you simplify.

Don’t fear your season of famine, prepare for it! Share your thoughts with me on today’s message and don’t forget to Like and Share this with your friends or family. What season is your life in?

Have an amazing day and stay blessed

Andrew

How to Spend Your Tax Refund – FPUK.co

Tax refund
Hi Friends,
I’m sat in my office this morning thinking about what happened to a friend yesterday, when he told me he’d had a nice tax refund from Her Majesty’s Government, and what he was going to spend it on, but it made me start thinking.

What is a tax refund? I know it may sound silly, but I really want you to think about it. What is it?

A tax refund is just that – a refund of your own hard-earned money. It is not a random gift or a stroke of good luck. It didn’t just come out of nowhere… and it’s NOT extra money. It’s money you worked hard to earn.

According to research  half of us receive refunds, averaging around £1500 each. And while that may seem like a huge relief to some people, it may look like a free shopping trip to others. But today I want us to look at what it really is.

See, we all live in a total “microwave” society today, where we do what we want, when we want, just because we can, without giving any thought to our financial future. And where has that got us? We have traded our financial freedom for more stuff, more debt and more bondage.

We fall into the trap of “more-more-more,” until we find ourselves buried alive in debt. So many people are in constant financial strain, and yet we are more concerned about our stuff than we are about our long-term financial future!

I know right now you’re saying, “Okay Andrew, so what does this have to do with my tax refund?”

There’s one rule proven to be true over and over again, and it is true here. Find out what everyone else is doing and do the exact opposite. You may have heard me say this before: 98% of the population will end up dead or dead broke by the age of 65, dependent on their friends, family, or the government as their main source of income. On the other hand, 2% are doing well financially.

So what can you do to cross over from the 98% to the 2% this tax season? Here are a few ideas:

  1. Keep your goals in mind. When you get a large, unexpected (or expected) chunk of money in your hand, it can be easy to lose sight of the financial goals you have set for yourself. Whether you have a goal to pay off £10,000 of debt, give £10,000 away to orphans, or invest £10,000 this year, do not lose sight of that goal!
  2. Resist temptation. There are all kinds of sales and advertisements, and even articles from so-called “financial experts” giving tons of ideas on how to spend your tax refund this year. They are trying to sell you everything from new clothes to a new BBQ, video games, or even a deposit on a new car. I’m telling you, don’t go there!
  3. Invest. So instead of spending your tax refund foolishly, choose to put that money aside for investing! This way you have a chance to make your money work for you without the fear of losing big.

Here’s what I know about you. You are not called to be one of those people. You were designed for wealth and freedom. How do I know that? Because you are here right now, reading this. Because you have a desire to succeed financially. You have a desire to see your children, your friends, and your community live debt-free, totally financially independent lives.

I would love to know what you think about today’s message. Are you getting (or have you got) a tax refund this year? What do you plan to do with it? I can’t wait to read your comments. But I also have a few more ideas on how to spend your tax refund that I can’t wait to share with you tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I pray you choose wisely today to invest your time and money into building your future not destroy it.

Have an awesome day & stay blessed

Andrew
