2 Tips for Success filled Training

Today I want to spend a few minutes talking to you a little bit about investing. Most people work their butts off to pay off their debts and if they start a savings account, they think they’re doing really good. And maybe eventually they save up a good little nest egg.

From that point on their financial goals start to wane, if they have financial goals at all! Maybe they start saving for a vacation. But the bottom line is a lot of times, that saved money has no bigger purpose. It’s just money you’ve saved to spend later, right?

You absolutely should have a nest egg because you never know when circumstances in your life may change. But what you also need to realize is that money is seed. If you truly want to stop being a slave to money and start making money work FOR you, you have to plant it and let it grow.

Here are two big secrets to investing:
1. You have to realize that there is something called inflation in our nation, the cost of living and other expenses increase every year. This means that the money sitting in your savings account is actually worth less as time passes. If all you ever do is put money in a bank account, you will actually be able to afford less and less. Numbers do not equal wealth.

You may have heard me mention that you need to make money your slave instead of the other way around. All that starts with knowing exactly where all your money goes. Usually when I am showing people how to create their budget I suggest giving 10% to charity, 10% to savings and to live off the remaining 80% (which breaks down into fun budget, food budget, bills, etc).

Ultimately, only you know what percent works best for your personal budget. But you might want to consider putting another 5-10% or, if your budget is tight, consider taking a portion of what would go into your savings account and set it aside for investing or growing your account. This way you have money set aside for growth and if you lose out or something happens, it doesn’t affect your nest egg.

You think your money is safe in a bank account because you don’t run the risk of losing it. Which is true, I’ve witnessed people research for days and still lose thousands of pounds on investments. But you also won’t grow.

2. There is, however, one investment that always gives you 100% return on what you put in. It is the gold mine of investing that gives consistent results in every area of your life, including your finances.

Yourself! If you are continually investing in yourself, your knowledge and your skill sets raise your value in the marketplace automatically. There is no replacement for what your expertise has to offer. And the more you refine that and pour into that, the bigger your bank accounts will grow, guaranteed.

If you are one of those who is generally squirmish about where to invest or what market to get into, consider using that money you set aside to learn a new skill, or to expand on one you already have.

If you’re looking for a blueprint or cheat sheet on where to invest or how, there isn’t one. All the research and knowledge of stocks or property in the world do not guarantee anything. Even those with years of experience meet misfortune. Maybe that new skill set you invest in could be learning about the real estate market. But don’t use your lack of knowledge as an excuse!

I have a question for you. You may have kids at home that are getting older, maybe even some have a job already. Have you been teaching them how to make wise financial decisions and what a budget is? Do they follow a 80/10/10 rule or something like it? If not, today’s Daily Thought would be a great start. Print it out and start that conversation tonight at dinner.

Make sure to like and share this message, and let’s demolish this fear of investing, or this lie that it is only for a select group of people. Imagine a country where we are all growing our seeds and becoming financially independent!

Top Tips To Success

Without a change of course, there can be no change of destination. It’s such a powerful statement, and so true. Think about it. In life, we often expect a different destination, but we stay on the same road and we are shocked when we don’t arrive at the place we say we want to arrive.

Life, success, goals, and designing our lives is really not that difficult. . For example, if your going onto a training course in Monaco South of France, it’s as simple as booking a ticket. When you’re booking that plane ticket, the first questions you have to answer are where are you leaving from, where are you going, and what are the dates?

Obviously the method of transportation you chose was an airplane. So that plane has a course, and the course leads to the destination. Say you’re leaving from Heathrow airport, and you would like to leave on May 16th, and you’d like to fly home on May 20th.
So you’ll head to the airport at Heathrow and you board the airplane. That pilot has a course. He has a fully charted course that is going to lead the plane and the 250 passengers in the plane to the destination of Monaco.

Success truly is that simple. The problem is, we come from this lottery society that expects their destination to just fall out of the sky and land on them. If the destination is becoming debt free, they think they will get lucky someday, whether it’s winning the lottery or somehow the ‘debt fairy’ is going to come take the debt away. Or people have this idea of the destination of getting a promotion in their job or becoming the VP of a company someday or running a very successful business.

That’s the destination they want, but the course they chose does not lead to that destination. Whatever your desired destination, you have to look at your course to determine whether or not you will get there. If the destination is having a harmonious, passionate, fulfilling marriage and family life, you have to make sure your course will lead you there.

Let’s go back to the pilot. What did the pilot have to learn? He had to learn how to fly. He had to learn how the airplane works. He had to learn how to land that thing in case of an emergency. He has to know how to solve problems all along the way. There are so many skills he had to learn in order to chart the course, take the plane 35,000 feet in the air, and stay on course until he gets all of the passengers safely on the ground at their destination.

It’s the same for you with paying off your debt or growing in your business or career. It’s the same for you with succeeding in marriage and raising successful kids. It’s the same for your health, or even a goal of feeding orphans or volunteering your time with the elderly. We don’t have any problems picking a destination. The issue is charting the course.

You have to chart the course and evaluate – What skills do I need in order to get to my destination? The bottom line is, without a change of course, there can be not change of destination.

Most people have chosen a course that does not lead them to where they want to go. And then, of course, there are the people who have not even picked out a destination. There are others who have charted a course, but they ran into some thunderstorms and they quit. They quit when they ran out of skill instead of gaining more skills.

It takes skill to reach your destination, and you can learn those skills. You can push through the places where you have run out of skill or you don’t know how to solve a problem or you don’t know which direction to go. You can invest into more skill so you can learn how to solve that problem. Just like a pilot runs into a thunderstorm, but he has the skill to navigate through it and exactly what course to take in order to reach the destination.

So today I want you to evaluate your course. Will it get you where you want to go? If not, you either have to change your course or change your destination. And if you change your course, what skills do you need to successfully chart out your course and to get to your destination?

If this has helped you today, please do me a quick favor. There is somebody else you know who needs to hear this. There is someone you know who may be off course in their finances, business, career, or personal life, and they are searching for direction. So go ahead and pass this message along to them. Tips to Achieving v Failing

There is a phrase we use in our office all the time. It’s a very powerful phrase that really relieves stress and pressure and brings such a glorious freedom. “Everyone needs an editor.”

If you have ever felt an expectation of perfection in your work, you know the kind of stress that comes with that. The reality is, mistakes happen. And speaking from the perspective of a boss, we know that! We expect that. We do not expect you to be perfect – we just expect you to give it your best shot.

But for some reason, most people have gotten it in their heads that they have to be perfect and get everything right the first time, every time. That expectation of perfection causes you to get stressed out and to actually make more mistakes. It creates pressure, and that pressure causes you to manage your time poorly. Excellence, efficiency, and creativity absolutely do NOT flow out of pressure.

This is where an editor comes in. To edit, by definition, means to prepare for public presentation.

When I finish writing this letter to you today, there will be not one, but TWO editors who will go line-by-line to find any spelling errors, formatting mistakes, and inconsistencies. But imagine what would happen if I got offended when they pointed out the mistakes I have made? Imagine if I refused the help of these two amazing editors. You would be reading a letter that is FULL of mistakes right now
We need each other in order to succeed. We need other people to pull the best out in us – we cannot do that on our own! We cover each other’s weaknesses. Have you heard the phrase, “Two heads are better than one”? It’s so true!

So instead of getting defensive when I get this letter back after it’s been edited and coming up with excuses for why I made those mistakes, I say, “Oh, thank you for pointing that out!”

This is exactly what we have to do in life – at work, at home, in our families and communities. Everyone needs an editor!

What does an editor do? They correct mistakes. Yes, they correct you! They point out errors and help you to adjust, adapt, or change. And why? To help you get better.

How do you respond to correction? What do you say to your “editors” at work? (That may be your boss or your manager, or even your colleagues, who correct you in order to help you and the whole team grow.) Do you get defensive, and say, “Yeah, I know!” or “You know what I meant!”? When your faults are called out, do you rebel against the one who pointed them out? Do you refuse to hear what they have to say? This is total rebellion, insubordination, and dishonor. Rebellious and insubordinate people try to hide their faults, and they are not teachable.

So do not respond to correction with dishonor. Respond with honour and gratitude, because you NEED correction in order to grow, learn, and mature. You need correction in order to get promotions, raises, and bonuses. If you want to advance in your business or career, correction must be part of your life. So welcome correction! It is the only way you will get where you want to go!

Remember that pressure of perfection I told you about earlier? Correction – having an “editor” – relieves that pressure. Perfection can only come through correction.

In order to receive correction, you must be teachable. Teachability is the key to long-lasting success, no matter what you do. When – not if – we make mistakes, whether or not we are teachable will determine if we learn from those mistakes or if we continue making the same mistakes again and again. Teachability requires you to put your ego aside and be willing to learn from the “editors” in your life.

EVERYONE needs an editor! We all make mistakes. Editors help us to correct those mistakes and to learn from them. Then, and only then, we can mature and grow to the next level, whether that is in your job, your business, your home, or your community.

Who do you know that needs to be relieved of the pressure of perfection today? Who do you know that is struggling with feeling like they always just make too many mistakes? This would be a great way to encourage those people. I know this phrase has relieved pressure here in our own office, and it has impacted me in a big way as well. So just go ahead and forward this email to your friends, family, and colleagues, or post this link on Facebook and Twitter.

J-O-B Respect

20140122-063018.jpg

Hi Friends

Today I want to talk to you about a mindset that is very common in the world of home business, and it is very limiting and very harmful to your future success.

You have probably encountered someone with this mindset, either in person or on Facebook. They talk about how horrible it is to have a job. You know, a J-O-B, ‘Just-Over-Broke’. These people try to recruit people into their business so they can finally ‘fire their boss’ and ‘break free from their 9-5 prison’. Many people use these phrases without even realizing what they’re even saying, or the result of the words they speak.

But today I want to pick this mindset apart and expose the truth about it. Because it really does set you up for failure, whether you have a job or career, or you are a business owner.

First, let’s talk about the business owner who tries to recruit people using these tactics. They say, “Hey, you still have a J-O-B? Come on, it’s time to fire your boss and start creating your own success, not your boss’s!”

But tell me, what kind of people do you think you will attract by motivating them by how much they hate their job and their boss, or by their feelings of being ‘trapped in a J-O-B’? You are painting a picture of being ungrateful and unhappy. You plant negative thoughts in their minds about their job or their boss, which then causes them to think and act negatively at work.

Because of the thoughts you have put into their minds, they are no longer prospering where they are planted. They are not working with excellence and diligence in their job because they now have a completely different perspective. They heard about a business opportunity, and suddenly their view of having a job totally changes. And if they can’t prosper where they’re planted when working at a job, what makes you think it will be any different when they get started in your business?

So you are not only sabotaging yourself here, by creating an attitude in that person that, quite frankly, you’re not going to want to work with even if they did decide to work with you in your business. But you are sabotaging the other person’s success in their job. It is not beneficial for you OR them. It does not help you build a business.

Not to mention, you reap what you sow. If you put those kinds of thoughts about their job into that person’s mind and they rip up their roots to move to your bright and shiny opportunity, what’s going to happen when someone else comes along and feeds them negative thoughts about you and your business and then offers them a different bright and shiny opportunity? They’re going to take it! And why? Because you reap what you sow.

I also want us to look at the other perspective – the employee. See, if you allow yourself to start listening to those phrases and speaking them, they will take root inside of your mind. It will cause you to hate your job, hate your boss, hate the people you work with, and hate that you have to work at a job 9-5.

But tell me, can you have that kind of attitude towards your 9-5 life, and then after-hours, turn around and have a good, positive mindset of an entrepreneur? NO! You can’t.

Not only that, but what is your work environment like when you have that mindset? You are just there sucking the air out of that place. People don’t like being around negative people. And guess what! When you hate where you are and what you’re doing, you are negative!

Please understand me when I say this – I am NOT bashing any industry or business. And I’m NOT saying you shouldn’t start a business, or even that you shouldn’t work a business full-time. I am simply exposing a very damaging mindset that has become very common, because I truly care about your success. I want to see you succeed.

Our culture tells us that if we’re not happy, we should move on to something else that will make us happy. It is because of that mindset that people are so easily tantalized and seduced into other bright shiny opportunities. It is because of that mindset that people do not have roots. They decide they don’t like what they’re doing, or ‘it’s not working’ or they get bored, so they uproot themselves and move on to something different without even giving themselves a chance to succeed in anything. The bottom line is, the deeper the roots, the bigger and better the fruit.

Now that you can see what this ‘J-O-B’ mindset really looks like and the results, you know it is not beneficial. It will not help you grow your business. It will actually hurt you and the people around you.

So set yourself up for success instead of failure today by not listening and giving into the mindset that says it’s a nuisance to have a job. Choose to work with diligence and excellence – both in skill and in attitude – and to prosper where you’re planted, whether that’s a business or a job. Learn to lead others properly and to form mutually beneficial relationships. Protect your future with honor instead of burning bridges. You will be amazed by how successful you will become!

I know you know a few (or several) people who have been affected by this mindset, either personally or by someone they know. It would be wise to go ahead and send this to them now. You can also be proactive and send this message to your employees/colleagues, as well as your business partners today. You can forward this email, or share this link on Facebook and Twitter.

That’s it for today, go out there and make the difference to your life, your family’s lives and to everyone you know and come across today

Stay blessed

Andrew 🙂

Wealth v Greed

People have such a skewed idea of money and wealth. It always amazes me how people automatically assume wealthy people are greedy people. It’s really sad, because one of the biggest secrets to our financial success is actually the complete opposite of what most people think.

Today I want to show you a different side of wealth that has completely changed the way I think about money. It is actually what gets me out of bed every morning, the reason I go to work (and it’s not what you think).

See, money is just that – money. It’s not happiness, not love, not safety, not security, not a friend. It IS, however, a tool. It is a very powerful tool. You use it to buy food and clothing and shelter. You can use it to buy more food and nicer clothes and bigger houses. What is it all for? What does it all mean? How long will that last? How long will you be satisfied with that?

Probably not long. In fact, if that’s the way you choose to spend your money, there’s a good chance you will end up in debt and miserable. How do I know? Because I’ve been there.

When I started making a little bit of money, I started spending it. I had it all – the house, the furniture, the cars, the clothes. I had the best of everything. The bigger the paycheck was, the bigger my spending was. I was completely addicted to stuff.

But then one day, I had an experience that changed everything. I heard a voice that asked, “Who is this all for?” After going through the list, not for the kids, not for God – I realized I had been completely consumed with stuff and I was crippled by greed. I had it all, but I was so empty.

I told you I was going to share one of my biggest wealth tips today. It’s very simple, and it’s something I learned after being set free from the greed that plagued me.

I began to put purpose to money. I began to use the money NOT for more stuff, but to impact other people. And here’s what I found: When you have a vision for your money, when you have a purpose for making money, you will make more of it.

We sponsor children on a monthly basis, as well as widows, the sick, the poor, and those in the sex trade all over the world. That is why I do what I do. Not because I just love doing business training & building, or all the other businesses we have. I work and make money so I can take care of more homeless.

When you put purpose to money, you will make more money and be more productive. And why? Because you have a reason for going to work every day. You have a reason for working with diligence and excellence. You have a reason for producing results and increasing your value in the marketplace.

The work you do, whether it’s pushing papers, crunching numbers, teaching, making phone calls, or doing construction, is no longer just about the work. It has purpose.

When you have money, you can use it to impact others. Agnieszka and I know that is the real reason for our money, and for years we have used our money for that very reason. And you can do the same. You can contribute to communities you care about. You can build wealth that will impact future generations.

When your motivation is not just to make money, but also to truly serve, you will see incredible multiplication – with people, time, and money. That is when you will see yourself getting an amazing job, your bosses giving you promotions, and your business taking off. That is when you will see your investments double and triple, your houses sell unexpectedly, and your bank accounts growing. When you WORK and put PURPOSE to money.

So I want to ask you today – do you have purpose for your money? What gets you out of bed in the morning? Why do you go to work every day? Is it so you can just barely scrape by and take care of your family? Is it so you can have a nice house, fast cars, and lots of stuff? Or do you have a bigger vision?

Take some time to think about that. Talk to your spouse and your children about the family’s financial vision. As a family, decide what kind of impact you want to have in the world. I guarantee this will build strength, loyalty, morale, leadership, excellence, and diligence in your family.

It would also be a good idea to pass this message along to your friends, colleagues, and clients. You can forward the email and post this link on social media. And I would really love to know your thoughts, your vision, your purpose for money – leave me your comments here.

Get Things Done

Have you noticed how busy people are today? It’s almost as if busyness is perceived as success… As if being busy was the same as getting things done.

I think in today’s world, we tend to glorify busyness. Just look around you. Think about how many times a day you hear others say, “Gosh, I’m so busy today!” or “Wow, what a busy week!” How many times a day do you feel like you’re running around in circles, jumping from one task to another, all the while, taking phone calls, texting, and answering emails?

We teach our kids to be busy, between homework and football and sailing and piano lessons and dance and gymnastics and church and chores. You hand them a piece of toast and rush them out the door early in the morning to take them to school, and then pick them up after school and race from one activity to the next, and picking up dinner from a drive-thru somewhere in there. By the time you get home in the evening, everyone is wiped out and grouchy, and it’s time for bed. (Sleep, wake up, repeat.)

We are busy at work and busy at home. We are busy in the car while driving, busy at the dinner table, and we’re even busy while we’re on the toilet! We are busy 24/7.

What does it feel like to be busy? Your heart is beating fast, you may be short of breath, and you feel like you just can’t move fast enough. You’re trying to keep up with your to-do list that seems to be growing faster than you’re marking things off. You’re working 60 hours a week just so you don’t get any further behind than you already are.

There’s something I learned many years ago, and I’m telling you, I live by this truth. That is, you do not get paid for the time you put in, but for the results you produce. When you produce results, you raise your value, which means you raise your pay.

But it seems like most people today are so busy, we aren’t getting anything done. We are so busy, we aren’t producing results. And if we’re not producing results – at home, at school, at work, at church – we’re wasting time, energy, and money. Busyness produces stress, burnout, no fun, poor relationships, and poor health. We can be busy, or we can be productive. One produces results, and one produces excuses. (When’s the last time you heard – or even said – “I can’t, I’m busy”?)

It’s so easy to fill hours with non-productive things. It’s easy to over-complicate things and create more work for ourselves.

That’s why it’s so important to identify and eliminate the nonsense things on your list. What is on your to-do list that is not benefiting you, your business, your career, your health, or your family? What unnecessary steps can you eliminate from your processes in order to streamline and simplify? What distractions are in your life that cause your focus to be scattered? All of these things lead to busyness, not productivity.

This is so NOT just about making more money, though that is part of it. This is about eliminating stress, having more fun, setting the right example for your children, protecting your health, and accomplishing your goals.

It’s easy to get into a rut of busyness and to just stop thinking about what we’re doing and whether or not we’re producing results. But today, let’s stop and check that out. Do not go mindlessly through your day today. Instead, pay attention to what you’re doing and look at the results you’re getting. The results will tell you where your focus should be!

The majority of the population is running around like a chicken with its head cut off, always doing something, but not producing consistent results. But you are not supposed to be one of them. How do I know that? Because you are reading this post right now. You are reading this because it’s time for you to step up and take control of your time.

When you do this, you will make more money, have less stress, have more time to spend with your friends and family, and finally be able to accomplish the goals that you have continued to put off because you’ve just been too busy to do anything about them. My friend, it’s time to stop the glorification of “busy”, and start producing results!

Who do you know that needs to read this today? Go ahead and pass this link along to your friends, family, and colleagues, or even forward the email or print it out for them. Can you imagine if your entire family or company was focused on producing results instead of just being busy all the time? What a different environment that would be. 🙂

How to Increase Trust in Relationships

Hi,
Last week, I had a conversation with someone who was having a hard time with her manager at work. We’ve all had challenges like that before, where we seem to constantly bang heads with other people, whether it’s your spouse, kids, manager, or even your clients.

This particular individual was banging heads with her manager. I told her she needed to have a conversation with the manager. You know, it’s always so interesting to me that when someone has a problem with someone else, the last person they want to talk to is the person they’re banging heads with.

So I asked her if she knew what she needed to say, and she thought for a minute, and she said, “I should probably go directly to her, smile, sit & talk.” I said, “Yes, that’s probably a really good idea. I know the heart of your manager is FOR you. She wants to see you succeed. I also know your manager is probably harder on herself than she is anybody else. There is a way to communicate with her in a way that will bring harmony. As you work through this difficult spot in working with her, there’s going to be a great relationship that comes out of it. Trust is not developed during easy times. Trust is developed through the hard stuff.”

Do you realize that is the truth, ?

I said to this individual, “Tell me why you trust me.” She said, “Because you’ve helped me through some really hard stuff. You loved me through the hard stuff, and you didn’t judge me for my mistakes, but you shared your mistakes.” I told her, “Exactly! That is why you trust me!”

It is not in the happy, easy times that we build trust. We develop trust with other people through bad situations and things we don’t want to confront. As long as we’re confronting issues from the right heart and with the right mind, that’s when good relationships are built.

An easy way to understand complicated people

People can be complicated and hard to understand. Whether it’s your spouse, colleagues, clients, or children, confusion and miscommunications happen from time to time. The good news is there is an easy way to eradicate those communication breakdowns and create harmony instead.

People have it so backwards today. They think a good relationship means you never have an argument or a disagreement. That couldn’t be further from the truth! The truth is, a good relationship is built when you work through those times. It is built when you make it through the earthquake together. When you stick together through hard times, that’s when you see character come out. You get to see somebody’s heart and their motives, and trust is built through that.

So don’t be like most people, who believe a good relationship is always good, and everything is always perfect and everyone is happy all the time. That is a bunch of nonsense! That is a Disneyland fantasy – NOT a reality. People have that exact same mindset about money – “I hope to get lucky someday. All the rich people just got lucky and got the good jobs and know all the right people.” You have fun with that belief system, but don’t be surprised when you end up broke at 65.

If you want good, solid relationships in your life, and you want to be able to trust other people and yourself, you’ve got to get the skills that help you confront issues in order to bring restoration.

A lot of people don’t know how to confront conflicts.

You can start with the content I sent you today. Choose not to throw in the towel and give up on the challenging relationships in your life, whether they are work-related or personal. Instead, take steps in the right direction to build trust and bring restoration to those relationships.

In fact, it would be very wise for you to share this message with a few people today. We all know people who are banging heads with someone else – you know, the ones who call you and say, “, I just don’t know what to do about So-and-So. They’re driving me crazy!” Just forward this email to them! Or you can even print it out and physically hand it to them. You may even want to post this link on Facebook and Twitter. (Come on, social media is always full of people complaining about other people. This is your chance to spread some GOOD news on Facebook for a change!)

I would also really love to know your thoughts about today’s Daily Thought. Have you ever experienced what I shared today? Have you pushed through challenging times in your relationships and built trust along the way? Are you going through that right now? I would love to know. You can leave your comments here.

One Main Blockage To Success

Are you totally committed to the things that are important in your life? There’s a really quick test to find out if you are. (I’ll get to that in a minute.)

You see, in order to succeed in anything – your business or career, paying off your debt, growing your finances, family, traveling, helping orphans – commitment is a requirement. Success demands commitment. If you are not committed, you will never succeed.

When people are not committed, it shows. People are often not committed to a business they are in. Sure, they might be committed for a little while, but as soon as they run into some trouble, they quit. Others have a dream to feed orphans or to supply clean water to the poor in other countries, yet months go by and they’ve done nothing to either give their time and money, or even to spread the message about the need.

A lot of people say they want to do something, but more often than not, they just don’t do what they say they’re going to do.

Here’s a quick test to determine whether or not you are committed: Do you complain? Complaining shows you are not committed. It shows you are not ‘all in’.

The truth is, if you are not ‘all in’ for succeeding in your business, other people around you know it – especially your prospects, customers, and co-workers. So think about it. Why in the world would they follow you if they know you’re not committed? They won’t, because they know you will eventually quit.

It’s time to go ALL IN for your business success!

Right now you’ve got a choice to make. You can dance around the line between amateur and professional, or you can step up and get equipped with the skills that will make you a true professional in your field (complete with a professional’s salary). It’s up to you.

If you are not committed in your marriage, you probably complain a lot about your spouse. If you complain about your spouse, it shows you have already taken one step in the wrong direction towards quitting on the marriage.

It’s the same with your kids. If you are fully committed to being the best parent you could possibly be, complaining is not an option. Success is the only option. Finding solutions to handle those very challenging times, from your toddlers all the way to your teens, and with everything from homework to keeping their rooms clean.

If you are not committed in your job, you complain about your boss, your co-workers, and the work you have to do. That is a sign of no commitment! And a lack of commitment will never lead to success.

Where there is no commitment, there is no ownership. Where there is no ownership, there is no success. Period, end of story.

So if you’re committed in your business, you’re not complaining that your customer isn’t buying, or about your employees or distributers. You’re finding solutions. You’re tracking your results and improving yourself and the business model. You’re looking to learn the skills you must learn in order to succeed. That’s what a committed person does.

But someone who is not committed simply complains until they sell themselves on quitting. Do you understand that complaining is a form of sales? It is selling yourself and others and making a case against the thing you said you wanted to succeed in.

You’ve got to stop complaining and start finding solutions. There are solutions all around you, right in front of you.

And here’s the thing about solutions: They may cost you money and time. And why? Because if it doesn’t cost you something, it has no value to you. And if it has no value to you, you will not impliment those important solutions. But when you have to put skin in the game and make an investment of time or money into learning the skills you need to implement the solutions that will bring you success, you are ‘all in’.

I bet you can think of times in your life when quitting was absolutely not an option. I’m sure you can think of times when you never even allowed your mind to entertain the thought of quitting. You refused to see the down-side of what you were doing because you were so focused on finding solutions.

The bottom line is, you will either think about solutions, or think about complaining. Only one will lead to success in your business, career, family, finances, and life. So keep your focus on solutions, and shut the door to the complaints that want to come out of your mouth.

Can you imagine if your entire office, all your employees or colleagues, your whole family, and every single one of your clients could grasp this concept? Do you see how that would completely change the dynamics of your work environment, your relationships, and your bank account?
